I Think I May Have Killed J.D. Salinger

Here is a conversation between me and my husband last night.

Me: J.D. Salinger was blah blah blah...

Hubby: IS, he isn't dead.

Me: As far as we know.  Isn't he hiding out somewhere?

I want to clarify that I am deeply saddened by this news.  Salinger was one of my favorite writers ever and we have certainly lost a literary master. I only hope that his work and affect future generations the way it affected me.

There's no way J.D. Salinger OK'd this

a new line of clothing out called Caulfield Preparatory  is out now with Upper East Side preppy sweaters and button shirts for the uber rich, uber snobby gossip girl natzi loving NYC Prep kids. I'm not sure Holden Caulfield would approve.
