since my husband and I bought our place, we've been struggling with how to block out the light from the outside.  Our windows are floor to ceiling with no place to put any kind of hardware.  We've finally settled on putting roll-up blinds inside the frame of our windows.  My coworker pointed me to a site surfaceview.co.uk where they do large scale canvases, wall decals, and custom roll up blinds.

I asked them to do a rendering of our windows and this is what they came up with.  

I am speechless.  It is the coolest thing I have ever seen and I am running out the buy them ASAP.
