Guitar Lessons

Today, I had my first guitar lesson in years.  One of my homework assignments is to come up with a list of songs that I want to learn to play.  So I put it to you, my friends to help me put together this list.  If you could learn to play any song on the guitar, what would you want to learn?

Money for Nothing or Sultans of Swing.

However, I'm betting you're looking for acoustic songs, in which case probably Skullcrusher Mountain.

Now I'm trying to picture Marissa singing Sultans of Swing. It might be awesome...

I'd like to hear you do some stuff by the Cars, since I have always heard a little bit of them in your own writing. Maybe Good Times Roll, or Just What I Needed.

Also "They Don't Know" by Kirsty MacColl (Tracey Ullman had the hit with it) is one of my favorite 80s songs that I think you would knock out of the park.

I'm happy to hear you are playing, and I am always available to play with you.

for 80s metal - I think you could destroy Round and Round by Ratt....

best thing for the hands is ragtime and Bach - maybe have your teach work through freight train/blackbird etc. or any classical stuff
