Getting Back into the Swing of things
Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 12:53PM It's taken me quite a while but I think with the new apartment and everything I am finally deciding to take control back of my creative existence. On Monday, I had an audition of the New Amsterdam Singers Chamber Choir and I got in! Next weekend, I'm off to an audition for a musical at a small theatre space in Brooklyn. I've also been looking up dance classes. Who knows, maybe I'll even start playing the guitar again!
I think it's the thought of having my own space to create in that is getting me amped up. We currently live in a 400 square foot 1 BR and we're moving to a 1360 square foot 1(+nook)BR in Brooklyn. Geoff and I have already planned out our creative sanctuary spaces in the apartment and we're ready to get our creative juices flowing.

Congratulations on the chamber choir!!! And the new house, I cannot wait to celebrate with you guys and am so happy that you'll have your own creative spaces. These things are so important to a creative. Especially in big fancy ol new york town. Love, love love.
