Riding the wave

this morning the google gods graced me with an invite to google wave.  So far, I don't get it.  It sort of seems like mail to me.  But then I was concerned that I don't get my regular mail in it. So what is it for?  Do any of you have it?  Anyone want an invite?

Hey there! I'd love an invite. BTW... check out bwana.tv - there is a nice totorial on Wave explaining it in detail as well as a few flaws and "nice to have" features that are currently missing.
