I’m here on the bolt bus using the somewhat spotty but still pretty damn cool wifi. It’s been a pretty easy ride clocking in at 3.5 hours so far and we’re already in Elizabeth, NJ. I highly recommend it, especially if you’re thinking about traveling late night when there’s no traffic. My ticket was only $24 but if you’re quick and plan ahead you can get your ticket for as low as $1. The bus is pretty comfortable and very clean. The best part in my opinion is that there is a plug for my laptop right in front of me so I was able to watch my movies the whole ride without worrying about losing power.
Next time you have to travel down to DC on a budget, give the bus a try. Totally worth the $75 I saved by not taking the train. Now only if they would allow dogs…
